What documents are required?

The following documents are required to rent a car:

  • Passport (for customers coming from abroad)
  • Photocopy of driving licence
  • Photocopy of ID card
  • Driving licence photocopy of the additional driver, if applicable

How do you pick up the vehicle?

Once your reservation is confirmed, it is forwarded to the relevant office and the most suitable vehicle is allocated to you. Reservation details are sent to you via e-mail.

At locations without an office inside the airport, our staff will meet you at the terminal exit with a name board.

How can you make a reservation?

Is vehicle delivery or pick-up at an address available?

Vehicle delivery to a requested address or pick-up from an address is available for an additional fee.

Since the fee varies depending on distance, please contact our reservation center for details.

What happens in case of delay or rental extension?

Any extension of the predefined rental period is subject to the approval of Linie Rent a Car. Rental periods are calculated in 24-hour intervals.

Delays exceeding 3 hours will result in an additional one-day rental charge.

Can someone else drive the vehicle?

The rented vehicle may only be driven by the person(s) stated in the rental agreement. Insurance is not valid if the vehicle is driven by third parties not specified in the contract.

Who pays traffic fines?

All traffic fines incurred during the rental period are the responsibility of the renter. This obligation does not end with the completion of the rental period.

Any fines received after the rental period will be collected from the individual or company named in the rental agreement. Traffic fines paid by Linie Rent a Car on behalf of the customer will be charged to the customer including a service fee.

What is the fuel policy?

Vehicles are not delivered with a full fuel tank. The vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level as at the beginning of the rental.

Fuel shortages are charged at return. No refunds are provided for vehicles returned with excess fuel.
